Before you start
- On 710, 730, 731 the little end of the connecting rods is trapezoidal. The bushing must be line-bored after changing.
Procedure
- Before changing the gudgeon pin bushing, check the connecting rod for cracks, straightness and warp.
- A cracked, bent or warped connecting rod should be scrapped.
- Use a new gudgeon pin and measure to specifications.

- Special tools: (610, 630): 1801, 2669
- Special tools: (710, 730, 731): 1801, 2497
Specs & torque values
- New gudgeon pin
- 710, 730, 731: Bushing must be line-bored after changing
