Procedure

  1. Step 1: Mounting and cabling access is best provided by remov-
  2. 9.3 for cover removal instructions.
  3. Step 2: Gently maneuver the switch into its location using all of
  4. Step 3: Bolt the enclosure to the base. Use separate cleats
  5. Step 4: Tighten bolts to 50 ft-lbs (68 Nm).
  6. Step 5: Double check to ensure that all packing and shipping .
  7. 4.5 Power Cable Connections
  8. Step 1: Verify that the line and load cables comply with applica-
  9. Step 2: Verify that the transfer switch rated current and voltage
  10. Step 3: After the transfer switch is mounted, provide the conduit
  11. Step 4: Test all power cables before connecting them to the unit
  12. Step 5: Carefully strip the insulation from the power cables.
  13. Step 6: Tighten the cable lugs to the torque identified on the label
  14. Step 7: Make the necessary connections of any options using the
  15. Step 8: Connect the engine start wires to the logic connector
