Before you start

  • After the front cover is removed, it should be placed in a clean environment.
  • Before assembly, it is necessary to check whether the inside of the front cover has greater dirt to ensure the front cover is tidy.
  • Before assembling the front cover, apply the sealant on the bonding surface of the body, and the glue line should be continuous.
  • When assembled, the seal must be pressed fully into the front cover groove.

Procedure

  1. Dismantling:
  2. 1. Remove the front cover fastening bolt.
  3. 2. Remove the front cover.
  4. 3. Remove the front cover seal.
  5. Assembling:
  6. 1. Apply sealant on the bonding surface of the body.
  7. 2. Ensure the glue line is continuous.
  8. 3. Check the seal for damage and replace if damaged.

Tools required

  • Socket wrench
