  7. Before the disassembling, all engine oil should be drained out. Put an engine oil container
  8. under drain screw plug of oil sump, screw off the plug with a plug wrench to drain oil out.

  10. Assembling
  11. 1) Apply sealant on fitting surface of engine block and partially apply sealant on oil
  12. sump, place sealing gasket on the fitting surface.
  13. 2) Lift and place oil sump, be careful and avoid crashing the fitting surface.
  14. 3) Install bolts and gaskets and tighten the bolts with pneumatic impact wrench to 20~35.5Nm.

  20. 1) Loosen the cylinder head bolts and remove them.
  21. 2) Pull the cylinder head up vertically to take it down. If the cylinder head gasket is attached
  22. on the removed cylinder head, remove it and place it back on engine block. Put the
  23. removed cylinder head on cardboard to prevent damage to the upper surface of the
  24. combustion chamber and other sealing surfaces. If more than one cylinder head needs to
  25. be disassembled, mark the cylinder number on the head for reference.

Tools required

  • 3) Install bolts and gaskets and tighten the bolts with pneumatic impact wrench to 20~35.5Nm.
  • under drain screw plug of oil sump, screw off the plug with a plug wrench to drain oil out.

Specs & torque values

  • 35.5Nm
