PSI/Doosan — Convert Compressor from Shipping Position to Towing Position

For these PSI/Doosan models: C185, C185WKUB-T2 Export (E04).

Procedure

  1. Remove hardware box from compressor toolbox.
  2. Open box and locate the conversion hardware and tools.
  3. Remove bolts connecting drawbar in shipping position.
  4. Reposition drawbar to towing position.
  5. Install (4) 12mm bolts with pre-applied thread lock.
  6. Install (2) 8mm Taptite Bolts and washers.
  7. Torque all fasteners to 68 foot pounds (9.4 kg-meters) using torque wrench set to specification.
  8. Attach (2) Safety Chains to secure drawbar.

Tools required

  • Ratchet
  • 13mm socket
  • Torque wrench
  • 16mm socket
  • 5 inch extension

Specs & torque values

  • Torque specification: 68 foot pounds (9.4 kg-meters)
  • Hardware: (4) 12mm bolts with pre-applied thread lock
  • (2) 8mm Taptite Bolts
  • (2) Washers
  • (2) Safety Chains
