Before you start
- Keep the O-ring free of oil or grease.
- After installation, keep the sealed area away from the coolant for approximately one hour.
Procedure
- Attach new O-ring to each end of water inlet pipe; wet O-ring with water.
- Apply a 3 mm diameter bead of FIPG to the water outlet fitting; install quickly while wet.
- Check rubber ring undamaged and install thermostat with jiggle valve at uppermost position.
