Before you start
- Check valve stem seal sleeve internal spring is intact before assembly.
Procedure
- Replace valve if worn or carbon soot sintered.
- Coat molybdenum disulfide paste on exhaust valve stem, insert valves.
- Insert positioning pins into cylinder head plane (three per head).
- Place valve stem protective sleeve and assemble valve stem seal sleeve.
- Install valve spring.
- Install valve spring seat, depress spring, install valve lock clamp.
- Tap valve with rubber hammer so it seats.
