Procedure
- Install 2 locating sleeves
- Install 3 adjusting shims on each locating sleeve
- Rotate crankshaft until 2 gear teeth marked '0' arrive at marked location; mark their crest and flank
- Rotate gear on balance mechanism until the '0' marked tooth arrives at marked location; mark it
- Install balance mechanism ensuring '0' marked teeth of crankshaft gear and balance mechanism gear engage
- Install bolts, distinguish bolt length, no washer
- Tighten bolts and measure gear clearance 0.3mm to 0.4mm
- Remove balance mechanism and change shim quantity if clearance out of range; max 5 shims per side
- Tighten bolts (4X M10) to 40-45 N·m
