Before you start
- Lightly lubricate both O-rings of the throttle control device to adapter
Procedure
- Disconnect negative battery cable
- Remove air intake duct
- Release hose clamp on vapor fuel line and remove vapor hose
- Disconnect TMAP electrical connector
- Disconnect electronic throttle control device connector
- Remove manifold to throttle body adapter bolts and remove throttle body mixer assembly
- Pull throttle body assembly from adapter
- Remove electronic throttle control device
- Remove O-ring gasket and discard
- Install new O-ring (32501097) on throttle body; press down to bottom
- Install two quad seals (33000599) one at a time, ensuring seal sits flat
- Attach mixer and throttle body together
- Place gasket on intake manifold and attach mixer/throttle assembly to manifold
