Before you start
- Cylinder head gaskets cannot be reused.
- Valve seals can’t be reused.
Procedure
- Insert the seal valve into the valve guide pipe.
- Install the intake valve and exhaust valve onto the cylinder head.
- Install new cylinder head gaskets.
- Assemble the cylinder head to the engine block.
- Thread the cylinder head bolts into the cylinder head.
- Tighten the cylinder head bolts in order 3-4-5-2-1-6.
Specs & values
- Cylinder head bolt cannot be reused if length over 160.5mm
- The engine MUST be barred over three complete rotations before starting the engine once new cylinder heads are installed.
