Before you start
- Never remove the radiator cap while the engine is operating or hot.
Procedure
- Check coolant level daily only when engine is cool, before first start.
- Maintain level 3/4 to 1-1/2 inches below filler neck seat when cold.
- Inspect radiator cap rubber seal and filler neck seat; rinse clean if needed.
