Procedure
- Stop engine.
- Allow approximately several minutes for oil to drain back into oil pan.
- Remove dipstick, wipe clean, reinstall pushing fully into dipstick tube.
- Remove dipstick and note oil level; must be between FULL and ADD marks.
- If below ADD, reinstall dipstick and remove oil filler cap from valve cover.
- Add oil to bring level up to but not over the FULL mark; reinstall filler cap and wipe excess.
