Perkins — Valve Mechanism Cover - Remove and Install

Procedure

1. Loosen hose clamps and disconnect hose.
2. Remove connection and gasket if needed.
3. Remove nuts, washers, and bolts in reverse tightening sequence.
4. Remove valve mechanism cover from base.
5. Remove O-ring seal.
6. Install new O-ring seal.
7. Position cover onto base and install fasteners finger tight.
8. Tighten nuts to 18 N·m in sequence.
9. Tighten bolts to 10 N·m in sequence.
10. Install connection and gasket if needed.
11. Connect hose.
