Before you start
- Before leaving or servicing machine, stop on level surface and turn off machine
Procedure
- Stop the engine and set the machine parking brake.
- Loosen the unit vent plug and open the water trap drain to drain diesel fuel.
- Remove the filter cartridge from the filter head.
- Lubricate the o-ring of the new filter cartridge and spin it onto the filter head.
- Bleed the fuel lines of air as described in TO PRIME FUEL SYSTEM.
Specs & values
- Replace filter element and clean water trap every 400 hours
