Operation

Before you start
- Do not start the engine under load.
- The air shut off valves must be in the open position (A2) to start the engine.
Procedure
- Ensure that the engine load is disengaged.
- Check that the shut-off valves are in the open position (A2).
- Turn the start key to the position (C3) to engage the starter motor.
- If the engine does not start after 10 seconds, allow the start key to return to the 2 position for 20 seconds, then engage the starter motor again.
- After the engine has started, check the oil pressure gauge.
