Before you start

  • Ensure plastic tube assemblies are installed in original positions to prevent contamination.

Procedure

  1. Position fuel filter base on the mounting bracket.
  2. Install bolts and tighten to specified torque.
  3. Remove plugs from plastic tube assemblies.
  4. Remove caps from ports in fuel filter base.
  5. Connect plastic tube assemblies to fuel filter base.
  6. Install new fuel filter if necessary.
  7. Restore fuel supply.
  8. Remove air from fuel system.

Specs & torque values

  • Bolt torque: 44 N·m (32 lb ft)
