Perkins — Fuel Shutoff Solenoid - Remove and Install

Before you start
- Keep all parts clean from contaminants.
Procedure
- Turn battery disconnect switch to OFF position.
- Disconnect electrical connection (3) from harness; mark connections.
- Remove fuel shutoff solenoid (1) by rotating counterclockwise.
- Remove sealing washer (2).
- Install sealing washer (2) to solenoid (1).
- Install solenoid into pump housing by rotating clockwise; tighten to 17 N·m (12 lb ft).
- Connect electrical connection (3).
- Turn battery disconnect switch to ON position.
