Before you start
- Do not install a fuel manifold that has not been plugged
- All plugs and caps must be left in place until fuel injection lines are about to be installed
Procedure
- Ensure all ports on fuel manifold are capped
- Ensure fuel manifold is externally clean and free from damage
- If necessary, position hose clamp onto plastic tube assembly
- Install new seal into plastic tube assembly
- Install plastic tube assembly to fuel manifold
- Tighten hose clamp securely
- Position fuel manifold onto valve mechanism cover
- Install bolts to fuel manifold finger tight
- Install new fuel injection lines finger tight
- Tighten bolts to 27 N·m
- Tighten nuts for fuel injection lines to specified torque
- Remove plugs and install plastic tube assemblies to connections
Specs & torque values
- Bolt torque: 27 N·m (239 lb in)
