Procedure

  1. Thoroughly clean the area around fuel manifold
  2. Disconnect hose assembly connection from fuel injection pump
  3. Disconnect hose assembly connection from fuel distribution block
  4. Remove bolts from fuel manifold
  5. Remove fuel manifold from the valve mechanism cover
  6. If necessary, release hose clamp on plastic tube assembly
  7. Disconnect plastic tube assembly from fuel manifold
  8. Use Tooling (A) to cap the open port in fuel manifold
  9. Remove seal from plastic tube assembly
  10. Use Tooling (A) to plug the open end of plastic tube assembly
