Perkins — Fuel Injection System Assembly

For these Perkins models: 1103, 1104.

Applies to: Perkins 1104

Procedure

  1. Refer to Specifications for the correct torque for Fuel Injection Pump.
  2. Install the high pressure fuel lines on the fuel injection pump.
  3. Eliminate all air from the fuel system.
  4. Refer to Testing and Adjusting for Fuel System Prime procedure.
  5. If the fuel injection pump timing is incorrect, refer to Testing and Adjusting for Fuel Injection Pump Timing Adjustment.
