Before you start

  • Contact with high pressure fuel may cause fluid penetration and burn hazards
  • High pressure fuel spray may cause a fire hazard
  • Care must be taken to ensure fluids are contained during disassembly

Procedure

  1. Turn the fuel supply to the OFF position
  2. Turn the battery disconnect switch to the OFF position
  3. If necessary, remove the Diesel Particulate Filter
  4. Put identification marks on all hoses and tube assemblies
  5. Plug all hose assemblies and tube assemblies

Tools required

  • Capping Kit
  • LASER 4920 1/2 Inch Drive HP Fuel Line Socket Set
