Before you start
- NOTICE: Keep all parts clean from contaminants.
Procedure
- Ensure all components are free from wear or damage.
- If necessary, position bracket (12) to cylinder block; install washers (3) to bolts (14); torque to 240 N·m (177 lb ft).
- If necessary, install primary fuel filter assembly.
- Position fuel filter base (10); install washers (2) and bolts (1); tighten to 55 N·m (41 lb ft).
- Install new O-ring seal to secondary fuel filter (11); install filter.
- Install new O-ring seals (8) and (9) into elbow connections.
- Connect hose assemblies (5) and (6).
- Connect harness assembly (4) to sensors (3) and (7).
- Turn fuel supply to ON.
- Remove air from fuel system.
