Procedure

  1. 1. Inspect the fuel injection lines (1) for wear and for
  2. damage. Replace any fuel injection line (1) that
  3. is worn or any fuel injection line that is damaged.
  4. 2. Loosely install the clamps for the fuel injection
  5. lines (1).
  6. 3. Remove the dust caps from the fuel injection
  7. pump (3) and from the fuel injectors (2). Remove
  8. the dust caps from the fuel injection lines (1).
  9. 4. Loosely connect the nuts at both ends of the fuel
  10. injection lines (1).
  11. 5. Ensure that each fuel injection line (1) does not
  12. contact any other fuel injection line or any other
  13. engine component. Tighten the fasteners for the
  14. clamps for the fuel injection lines (1). Check that
  15. the fuel injection lines (1) are still clear of other
