Before you start
- Accidental engine starting can cause injury or death. Place Do Not Operate tag.
Procedure
- Disconnect battery negative cable.
- Mark harness connections.
- Disconnect harness assemblies from starting motor.
- Remove fasteners and starting motor.
- Install starting motor in position.
- Install fasteners and tighten to 50 N·m.
- Connect harness assemblies.
- Connect battery.
