Before you start
- Discard used canister and fuel in safe place.
Procedure
- Clean outside surfaces of fuel filter assembly.
- Drain fuel from filter if drain tap fitted.
- Hold bottom cover; release setscrew through filter head.
- Lower bottom cover; remove and discard element.
- Clean inside surfaces of filter head and cover.
- Renew seals and O ring; lightly lubricate with clean fuel.
- Put bottom cover under new element; hold element squarely to filter head.
- Engage and tighten setscrew.
- Eliminate air from fuel filter.
