Before you start
- Personal injury can result from escaping fluid under pressure.
Procedure
- Remove water temperature regulator from engine.
- Heat water in pan to fully open temperature of regulator and stir.
- Hang regulator below surface and away from sides and bottom of pan.
- Keep water at correct temperature for 10 minutes.
- Remove and immediately measure opening; replace if less than specified.
