Procedure
- Check fuel level in tank and ensure fuel cap vent is not blocked.
- Check all fuel lines for leakage and restrictions; verify return line is not collapsed.
- Inspect fuel filter for excessive contamination; install new if necessary.
- Service primary fuel filter if equipped.
- Operate hand priming pump; inspect pressure regulating valve if excessive resistance.
- Remove any air in the fuel system; prime as required.
