Perkins 403F-11 — Fuel Injector - Remove and Install

Before you start
- Do not let tops of fuel injectors turn when fuel line nuts are loosened or tightened.
Procedure
- Remove fuel injection lines and fuel return tube assembly.
- Use a deep socket to remove fuel injector from cylinder head.
- Remove seat washers from cylinder head.
- Cap or plug all openings immediately.
- Clean injector bore and injector body threads.
- Install new seat washers into bore.
- Apply bead of Hyloma Universal Sealing Compound to first two threads.
- Install fuel injector into cylinder head.
- Use deep socket to tighten injector to 64 N·m.
- Install fuel injection lines and fuel return tube assembly.
