Before you start
- Never run the engine without an air cleaner element installed.
- Never service the air cleaner element with the engine running.
Procedure
- Remove the six clips (2) and remove the cover (3).
- Remove element (5) and discard old element.
- Ensure cover (3), cap (1) and valve (4) are clean and free from dirt.
- Install new element (5), install cover (3) and install clips (2); ensure valve (4) is vertically down.
- If necessary, reset the air cleaner service indicator.
