Perkins 1106 — Test ECM Mode

Before you start
- Test ECM Mode must be activated before the engine serial number is programmed into the ECM.
Procedure
- Search for the latest flash file for the engine.
- Use Copy Configuration to copy parameters from the suspect ECM.
- Disconnect the suspect ECM and temporarily connect the test ECM.
- Flash program the test ECM with the newest software.
- Start Test ECM Mode through the Service menu.
- Program the test ECM with the copied configuration.
- Program the engine serial number into the test ECM.
- Verify that the test ECM rectifies the fault.
