Perkins 1106 — Terminal Removal

Before you start
- Do not use the removal tool to remove the terminal position assurance components.
Procedure
- Remove the connector from the ECM.
- Use a flat blade screwdriver to remove the two terminal position assurance components.
- Insert the removal tool into the hole adjacent to the terminal to release the locking device.
- Hold the tool in position and gently pull the wire to remove the terminal from the rear.
- Remove the removal tool from the face of the connector.
