Procedure

1. Check fuel level and vent in fuel cap.
2. Check all fuel lines for leakage and restrictions.
3. Install a new fuel filter.
4. Cut old filter open and inspect for contamination.
5. Service the primary fuel filter if equipped.
6. Operate hand priming pump; inspect fuel pressure regulating valve if excessive resistance.
7. Remove air from fuel system.
