Procedure
- Loosen the cooling system filler cap slowly to relieve pressure, then remove the cap.
- Drain enough coolant from the cooling system if needed to add the Extender.
- Add Extender according to the requirements for the engine cooling system capacity.
- Clean and inspect the filler cap gasket; pressure test or replace the cap as needed.
