Perkins 1106 — Connecting the Electronic Service Tool and the Communication Adapter II

Operation

For the Perkins 1106, from the Perkins service manual.

Applies to: Perkins 1106, Perkins 1106D engine

Procedure

  1. Turn the keyswitch to the OFF position.
  2. Connect cable between the COMPUTER end of communication adapter and the RS232 serial port of PC.
  3. Connect Adapter Cable Assembly between the DATA LINK end of communication adapter and the service tool connector.
  4. Place the keyswitch in the ON position.
