Perkins 1103 / 1104 — Rocker Shaft and Pushrod - Install
Adjustments
For the Perkins 1103 / 1104, from the Perkins service manual.

Procedure
- Lubricate both ends of pushrods with clean engine oil; install.
- Loosen adjustment screw and nut on each rocker arm.
- Position rocker shaft assembly onto cylinder head.
- Install torx screws; longest screw at front of cylinder head.
- Tighten torx screws from center outward to 35 N·m.
- Remove rocker assembly tool.
- Adjust inlet valve lash to 0.20 mm, exhaust to 0.45 mm.
