Perkins 1103 / 1104 — Fuel Injection Pump - Install (Delphi DP210)

Installation

Procedure

1. Ensure No. 1 cylinder at top dead center on compression stroke.
2. Install dry new O-ring onto fuel injection pump.
3. Position pump on front housing; tighten setscrews to 25 N·m.
4. Install bracket setscrew to 44 N·m if previously removed.
5. Install pump gear with washer and nut; tighten to 24 N·m.
6. Connect harness, fuel line, return line, and tube assembly.
7. Loosen locking screw, move spacer, tighten to 12 N·m.
8. Tighten gear nut to 88 N·m.
