Perkins 1103 / 1104 — Cylinder Head - Install
Installation
For the Perkins 1103 / 1104, from the Perkins service manual.

Procedure
- Clean cylinder head and block. Install studs in holes 2 and 3.
- Install new cylinder head gasket onto the studs and dowels.
- Use lifting device to install cylinder head onto dowels.
- Remove studs. Install short and long setscrews in marked holes.
- Tighten setscrews in numerical order to 50 N·m.
- Tighten again in numerical order to 100 N·m.
- Turn short setscrews 225 degrees, long setscrews 270 degrees.
