Compatible — Oil System Maintenance

For these models: 1.5MAJ-224R, 1.5MAJ-232R, 2.5MAJ-1R, 2.5MAJ-3R.

Before you start

  • Oil drain plug is located on left front side of engine below oil fill tube

Procedure

  1. When installing the oil pump, be sure the pump mounting gasket is in good condition
  2. Install the intake pipe and cup tightly and at the correct angle to have the cup parallel to the oil base
  3. Prime the pump with oil before installation

Specs & torque values

  • Recommended oil grades: SAE 10W-40, 5W-30 (above 0°F), SAE 5W (below 0°F)
