RD-1820 — Cylinder Oil Drain Mechanism Disassembly and Service

For the RD-1820.

Procedure

1. Disconnect rocker box covers by removing link joining oil drain mechanism levers
2. Loosen cap screws holding lever on cam and lift levers from cam
3. Remove screw locking bushing to cover and screw bushing assembly from rocker box cover
4. Remove key and lift bushing assembly from cam
5. Wash all parts in dry-cleaning solvent
6. Inspect oil seal and rubber oil seal ring for damage
7. Press out old oil seal and install new seal using drift if warranted
8. Reassemble per paragraph 21 h
