Before you start
- Use protective clothing and open filler cap carefully when engine is warm.
Procedure
- Check water level; about 1 in. (2.5 cm) below filler cap sealing surface when cold.
- Check oil level with dipstick; must be between high and low marks.
- Check fuel tank level; open fuel valves at tank and secondary fuel filter.
- Turn on optional battery switch if installed.
