- Do not run engine with air cleaner removed.

Procedure
- Remove plate on bottom of air intake manifold.
- Remove and inspect foam element.
- Wash dirty element in soapy water; rinse and dry thoroughly.
- Reinstall element and plate.

- Visually inspect every 200 hours; more often in dusty conditions.
