Before you start
- Generator sets with wet exhaust installed near or below the vessel's water line must use a siphon break to prevent backflow of water into the engine.
Procedure
- Position the siphon break a minimum of 12 inches above the vessel's loaded water line.
- Remove white plastic hole plugs from the penetration plate and replace with two rubber grommets (item 21).
- Install sound foam (item 22) to the underside of the penetration plate.
- Pass seawater pump output hose through the front hole and expansion tank hose through the side hole.
