Procedure

1. Remove all protective coverings and unseal the openings.
2. Install fully charged batteries and connect the terminals.
3. Re-install the alternator belt if it had been removed.
4. Fill the fuel tank.
5. Perform all pre-start checks.
6. Crank the engine 10 seconds without letting it start; wait 2 minutes and crank another 10 seconds.
7. Start the engine and run at no load in low idle for several minutes.
8. Check all gauges and check for leaks.
