Before you start
- Close the sea-cock before working on the engine cooling system.
- Do not open the filler cap when the engine is warm.
Procedure
- Remove expansion tank cap and drain the engine block.
- Open block drain cock and remove the plug in the lower left side of the heat exchanger tank.
- Pour clean water into the expansion tank until water from the drains is free of discoloration and sediment.
- Let water drain completely, close drains and refill with recommended mixture.
- Check hoses and connections and repair any leakage.

- Use 50% water / 50% ethylene glycol antifreeze mix
