Before you start
- Do not open the filler cap when the engine is warm; severe burns can result.
- The battery switch must always be kept ON while the engine is running.
Procedure
- Check water level at expansion tank pressure cap; tank full, overflow bottle half full.
- Check crankcase oil level with dipstick; must be in the waffled area.
- Check fuel tank level and open any fuel valves.
- Check and clean the sea strainer and reopen the sea-cock.
- Place the battery switch in the ON position.
