Before you start
- Excessive cranking with water lift muffler can damage engine.
Procedure
- Hold Shutdown Bypass switch ON.
- Push Engine Control switch to START.
- Release both switches as soon as engine starts.
- Do not crank starter more than 20 seconds.
- Wait at least 2 minutes before re-engaging starter.
