Procedure

1. Take off all protective coverings and unseal all openings.
2. Install fully charged batteries and connect terminals.
3. Install fan and alternator belts if removed.
4. Fill fuel tank.
5. Perform all pre-start checks.
6. Crank engine for 20 seconds with starter without letting engine start.
7. Wait 2 minutes and crank engine an additional 20 seconds.
8. Start engine and run at no load in low idle for several minutes.
9. Check all gauges and check for leaks.
