Before you start
- Make sure there is always an extra impeller and cover gasket in reserve and on-board.
Procedure
- Remove pump end cover.
- Remove impeller with water pump pliers; remove all pieces of a failed impeller.
- Clean inside of housing.
- Press in new impeller.
- Place sealing washer in outer end of impeller center if not already done.
- Replace cover using a new gasket.
