Before you start
- Rotating and moving engine components – risk of bodily harm and fatal injury
- Exhaust gases are harmful to health – ensure engine room is well ventilated
Procedure
- Check all protective devices reinstalled and all tools removed.
- Ensure nobody is in the danger zone.
- Start engine under no-load conditions per control cabinet documentation.
