Before you start
- Risk of injury and scalding from hot engine oil
Procedure
- Disable engine start.
- Unscrew engine oil filter with oil filter wrench.
- Drain remaining oil into a container.
- Clean sealing surface at connector.
- Coat new filter sealing ring with oil, install and tighten by hand.
- Replace other engine oil filters in same way.
- Release engine start and check filters for leaks.
